Always have a great nail day with these simple DIY nail art designs and tips.

Nails are the most ignored aspect of beauty. Brittle, broken and plain nails are a far too common sight. Hence, sharing some easy to do nail art designs for beginners and busy girls out there that can be done with minimum fuss.

“Well polished and maintained nails emphasize a lot about hygiene and well being. Always make sure to put your best foot forward through these simple and do-it-yourself nail art patterns.”

Polka Dots

One of the easiest and most adorable nail art designs is Polka Dots. All you need is two complimentary shades of nail paint and a base coat.

Apply the base coat on the nails for a smooth surface to work on. After the application of base coat, apply the nail paint of your choice over the nails and let it dry.

Then using the second color add dots over the painted nail. Create a pattern or just place them randomly. Let it dry.

Seal everything with a top coat and also add shine and smoothness to the look.

Zebra Stripes

It looks super chick and is best for starters. Take white and black colored nail paints and get started.

Apply base coat first. Then apply white nail paint, either all over the nails or just on the tips to get that French manicure look. Let it dry.

Once dried, use a thin brush and start creating zigzag lines over the nails. Try and create as fine lines as possible for an even better look. Let it dry and finish the look with a base coat.

Candy Bars

This look is similar to the zebra style, but easier. The colors white and red work best on it, though you can use any color combination. Create a base coat for the nails and let it dry. Now apply a coat of white nail paint. Let it dry. If required add a second coat.

Now using red color paint create diagonal bars at the bottom and then base of the nail. The lines can be thick or thin, as per your choice. Once dry, apply the top coat to finish the look.

You can experiment with designs and colors to create the look you want.

Pro Tip: To keep the look professional follow these tips:

• Don’t use shimmer based nail paints. They won’t give a neat look.

• If you do not have nail art brush, use any pen with a fine tip or even toothpick to create patterns.

• Always apply a top coat for the paint to last longer.

• Let the polish dry before adding another coat.

So, grab your favorite nail colors and create your own nail art style for a beautiful you every day.
